The First 4 Parks
Our adventure is close approaching, and we have our sights on our first 4 parks. We'll be heading up to Alaska to see Glacier Bay, Kenai Fjords, Denali, and Katmai (just 4 of the 8 massive parks up there). As much as anyone would love to drive 48 hours straight to get up to Alaska, that doesn't seem the best use of time, so we'll start our journey on a quick flight to Vancouver and then on a boat up through the Inside Passage and up along the coast of Alaska. Our first stop is to see Glacier...
Sleeping in the Trailer
As far as sleeping went, I really enjoyed it! Papa was in his sleeping bag so I guess we should call it a "Testing the Mattress" night. But, we were all happy the next day. Mama and I are thinking about making new curtains and sheets for the trailer but we do not know if we will yet. I also wanted to write a blog, but there...
The Airstream is Here
The Airstream got here yesterday! I have my own set of trailer keys that are Harry Potter themed! A while ago we got our trailer picked out, I will tell you more later. Then, when it got to Washington my papa went to see it himself. But.... we videoed him and we were all exited! Finally, on the 23rd of April we got to see it in person! The bike racks were not on yet so only yesterday did it come home. Inside there is a closet big enough for mama and a pillow to fit in. That will be handy!...
Our Trip

We will get an Airstream trailer for our "house" for the year we are away. This trip will be both educational and fun for my family. Okay... believe it or not there are eight parks in Alaska. Eight! we will head up to Alaska for a few of the parks there, starting with a cruise! Then back to Washington...
